What is oil service?
Oil service is about keeping the car in good condition and reducing wear. We change the oil and filters as needed and go over the key points according to the service book and manufacturer’s recommendations. If something comes to light we let you know and go over the next steps with you.
Oil service and minor repairs
At our workshops you can also get minor repairs and simple fixes. If you have a specific issue in mind, add it to the booking or mention it on arrival and we will immediately say what can be included or done.
We inspect the following
When a vehicle comes to an N1 oil service station the following is inspected and carried out in consultation with the owner.
- Engine oil and oil filter replaced
- Air filter inspected and replaced if needed
- Cabin filter (pollen filter) inspected and replaced if needed
- Fuel filter inspected and replaced if needed
- Gearbox oil level and condition inspected and replaced if needed
- Drive oil level and condition inspected and replaced if needed
- Power steering fluid level and condition inspected and replaced if needed
- Brake fluid level and condition inspected and measured
- Coolant level and frost protection inspected and measured
- Grease applied to joints where applicable
- Windscreen washer fluid inspected and topped up if needed
- Wiper blades inspected and replaced if needed
- Battery inspected and tested
- Lights inspected and bulbs replaced if needed
- Hinges and locks lubricated
- Main wear surfaces inspected and owner advised if anything requiring attention is found
- Tire pressures checked and inflated if needed
